Mother Nature said "NO SOUP FOR YOU!" today regarding my 2009 MTB race season debut. It was still a good day on the bike as eight of us had a pretty rough "Impromptu Peloton" session at INTEGRATE.
We rode along with the CTS crew and their "Time Trial" DVD. It was pretty rough (especially since Chris Carmichael mentioned "Lance" about 1000 times!), but it mirrored the intensity of an MTB race pretty accurately. This marks trainer ride number 10 in the last two weeks, and I am very much looking forward to getting outside for the real thing!
We even had a tasty post ride refueling session at the pho place down the street from the studio.
